Andalucía with family or friends, under one roof

A milestone birthday, an anniversary, a family reunion or simply a week with friends: with a large group it is rare to find a place where everyone has room of their own and yet is together. Cortijo Puerto El Peral is a private estate near Málaga with ten suites for up to twenty guests. You rent the whole house, with pool, gardens and terraces, and share it with no one.

Ten suites, a place for everyone

Each suite has a private marble bathroom with bath, walk-in shower and double washbasins. Eight rooms have a king-size bed and two have twin beds, and two extra single beds can be placed wherever suits you best. Bed linen, towels, dressing gowns and pool towels are included.

Living together

The heart of the house is the dining room with its open fireplace, seating 28 at long tables. There is also a spacious sitting room, a bar, a covered terrace overlooking the pool and the countryside, and a courtyard with a fountain. The professional kitchen is fully equipped, for those who like to cook themselves or prefer to hire a chef; the owners can recommend one.

Outdoors

The 16 by 8 metre pool has underwater lighting and a pool house with its own bar. Around it lie 55 hectares of private land, and various walking paths start directly from the house. There is room enough for children, and peace for their parents.

What it costs

The estate is open from March to October. A week of seven nights costs €7,400 for the whole estate, including VAT. The rate includes cleaning, but not food or catering. Stays of two weeks or longer receive a 5% discount. A 50% deposit is due on booking, the balance two weeks before arrival.

Practical

Málaga Airport is 40 minutes' drive away. There is covered parking for eight cars, a lift, Wi-Fi throughout the house, and a washing machine and dryer. Pets are not permitted. Arrival and departure times are agreed with each booking.
